Import Canon/Panasonic/Sony MXF or P2 MXF to Camtasia Studio
Camtasia Studio and Camtasia for Mac are not only a screen video capture software but also video editor software which published by TechSmith. Camtasia Studio also allows the user to record audio from a microphone or speakers, and to place a webcam’s video footage on the screen and the users also can do many amazed editions with CS. We may choose the generally used Camtasia Studio (7, 8) to merge, split, trim, crop, edit and create videos. When we want to edit our MXF/P2 MXF camcorder recorded videos in the file extensions of MXF/P2 MXF through Camtasia, it fails. Why? Because Camtasia Studio and many other video editing programs do not support MXF/P2 MXF format as the input. What are we supposed to do then?
How to Import MXF/P2 MXF Videos into Camtasia Studio?
Camtasia Studio supports AVI, .WMV, MPEG-1, .MP3, .WAV, .WMA, and .MOV (QuickTime) files. It does not support MXF/P2 MXF, AVCHD files (.m2ts, .mts, and .m2t), XAVC, MXF, Video_TS, MPEG-2, MOD, Ogg, WebM, .RM (RealPlayer), .FLV (Flash Video), 3GPP, and SWF created outside Techsmith products. It means that those videos incompatible cannot be imported to Camtasia Studio directly and must be converted or re-recorded.
How to get MXF/P2 MXF Videos Imported by Camtasia Studio?
